Sri Gnanananda Niketan is a Charitable Trust that was constituted in 1986 by prominent and close devotees of Sadguru Gnanananda with Pujya Swami Vidyananda Giri as Chairman and Pujya Swami Nityananda Giri as Managing Trustee. Its main objective is to serve the tradition of Adyatma Vidya or Self Knowledge, by providing all facilities for stay and for study of Vedanta in a traditional manner by Sannyasins and spiritual seekers from India and abroad.
One of the sevas of the Trust is to bring out publications in Sanskrit, English and Tamil on Vedanta, particularly reprints of old, rare and valuable books. Special attention is given to Tamil publications.
Sri Gnanananda Niketan has also published books on Sadguru Gnanananda and brought out CDs with songs of Tamil lore and compositions by Thapovanam devotees that are charged with both, devotion and Vedantic teaching.
