- As suggested by many devotees, a “Dainik Seva” scheme has been introduced by which one may, by way of donation, sponsor one day’s entire expenses at Sri Gnanananda Niketan. It could be on any date of the devotee’s choice like birthday, wedding anniversary etc. and in the name specified by the donor.
Contribution towards DAINIK SEVA for one day is Rs. 3000/- - You may also contribute freely towards the following main Corpus Funds instituted for specific purposes. The interest accruing on the Fund will be utilized every year.
- Building Fund - towards construction of new buildings, renovation of old structures and Ashram development.
- Annakshetra Corpus - towards the food expenses of Sannyasins and other aspirant residents and devotees.
- Maintenance Corpus - towards the monthly expenses viz. salaries, power and telephone bills, repairs to buildings, etc.
- Sadhus' welfare Corpus- towards the medical and other expenses of residents and visiting sadhus.
- Other Corpus - ear marked for specific causes, like publications, festivals, students scholarships, support for the poor, etc..

- Provision of secluded and conducive environment for sadhana, study and contemplation for the Sannyasins, Brahmacharis and spiritual seekers who are in the path of Self-enquiry in the light of Vedanta;

- Welfare of the permanent residents particularly of nishkincanas.
- Traditional teaching of Vedanta and meditation
- A well equipped library with books in various languages on vedanta, yoga, religion and related subjects;
- Satsang Mandap and Meditation Hall;
- Publications in Sanskrit, Tamil and English on the teachings of Sadguru Gnanananda and on Vedanta, particularly reprints of old, rare and valuable books;
- Audio Cds of devotional music and discourses of Sadguru Gnanananda, etc.;
- Annadana offered to the people and school children of the nearby villages on specific occasions during the year, (like Thai Poosam and Akshaya Tritiya);
- Merit Scholarships and support to poor students;
- Development and maintenance of the Ashram buildings and land;
